Album Rating: 2. Good review though. Don't get this album if this is your first Saves the Day album. Yeah I love Saves The Day In Reverie the Day to death, there one of my favorite bands but this album is just so poppy it makes me want to rip my eye out with a rusty fork.
I liked this album, i actually liked this album alot. His voice is so much more soothing. This album is actually good if you let go of the fact that they changed styles. You should let that go cause they came out with sound the alarm.
ANyways, i fall asleep to this album, i like it, more creative imo. Album Rating: 4. It took ages This album is awesome from start to end. Chris' soothing vocals and weird lyrics along with the jazzy instruments make this album work. If you're looking for a relaxing album, this should be a good pickup. This is my second favourite to Stay What You Are. I really dislike this album.
The songs just seem boring and weak to me compared to their other albums. The album's first single, "At Your Funeral", became the band's breakthrough hit. Conley, who had previously written songs on guitar, began playing it in the group. Newman was replaced by Face to Face drummer Pete Parada. In Januarythe group was doing pre-production in Los Angeles. They were reportedly working on 18 songs. Schnapf played the tambourine on "Driving Saves The Day In Reverie the Dark".
