The Bass Foundation Recognition
Many families depend on the school hot lunch program for their children during the school week but have insufficient food at home during the weekends. The Bass Foundation's Back Pack Buddies helps to address this issue by providing nourishing weekend meals. Scholarships are awarded to Columbia High School seniors who achieve academic recognition and demonstrate financial need. This annual scholarship piggybacks our College Mentoring Program in which we mentor High School students from under-served families in pre-college prep, essay and interview support.
For the three clubs in each district that give the most, per capita, to the Annual Fund. Special opportunities are available to create an endowment or make a directed gift in your name or the name of a loved one. Endowed gifts are invested in perpetuity, with part of their earnings spent on a designated program. Directed gifts Improvisators Dub WICKED spent in The Bass Foundation Recognition entirety, usually in the following Rotary year.

The Foundation for a Better Life creates public service campaigns to communicate the values that make a difference in our communities.
These uplifting messages, utilizing television, movie theaters, billboards, radio and the internet, model the benefits of a life lived by positive values. We believe people are basically good but sometimes just need a reminder. We also believe that the positive values we live by are worth more The Bass Foundation Recognition we pass them on. The Foundation for a Better Life has produced award-winning public service television messages, which are designed to uplift viewers with positive values.
Each message incorporates popular music to bring the messages to life. The commercials are now seen in over countries around the world. Today, the Bass Foundation continues today to provide goods and services with an intense focus on programming that encourages higher academic achievement, literacy, college preparedness and life skills. In addition, we have recently launched a food support program, where weekly, we deliver 80 bags which contain nourishing kid-friendly meals, drinks and healthy snacks to help kids whose families are struggling.
Our motto is "Heart-to-heart, changing lives one at a time. Our vision is to seek out need in the community at-large and address it in a way that creates a better life for our recipients.
