Reissue from originally, killer digital Oswald Creary production. In collaboration with Walkie Talkie Records we're very happy to announce the rescue of this classic 7" from obscurity. A pretty accurate description for Aciamaj, a very short lived five-way musical and harmony group led by Gill "G.

This musical heritage stands out as one of the principle cradles of ska, rocksteady and reggae music. Produced and originally pressed up in very limited numbers by Heron's out of Mandeville, this one-away classic recorded in on the fittingly named and humble imprint "Roots". It's incredible to share this peek into the daily runnings and commentary of the people's quest to survive.

Welcome 'Trench Town Connection'. Pure fyah! For this release Zion Train have teamed up the wonderful vocalist out of the Black Rosestudio, Birmingham, UK Prince Jamo as well as musicians such as Paolo Baldini ofinternationally reknowned Dubfiles project playing live bass and guitars and Zion Train sbrass sec tion in full blazing flowThe lyrics are a commentary on the politicalmilitary ultracapitalist system and its methodsof control.

Fast forward towhere a serendipitous meeting between Ralph Weeks and Names You Can Trust turned into a solid formation of musical synchronicity, bonded over a shared belief in musical fusion, a weaving of musical threads that was similarly the foundation of that earlier era in Panama.

It's a fusion that has become a constant theme throughout the Names You Can Trust catalog in the last 10 years, connecting the dots from NY, the Caribbean and Latin America. An immediate plan was put into motion: return Weeks to a studio atmosphere that had eluded him in Aciamaj Featuring Gill Trench Town Connection preceding decades, a vibe and live musical presence that would be reminiscent of his time recording with The Telecasters and The Exciters in Panama.

In the ultimate tribute to Weeks and that foundation, NYCT label mates Combo Lulo unpacked the year old original tune and refashioned it into a timeless rocksteady ballad. It was an Aciamaj Featuring Gill Trench Town Connection for Weeks to acquaint himself with a new band and a new generation of musical talent.

Sabrina her real name is Melina Carone Human Cargo Special Kind Of Love Carry Us Beyond Sabrena had been making records in her and her ex-husband's studio in their garage for years. Some time after Sabrina worked with a man named Kenneth Corey who mastered her recordings.
